Carolina Grasshopper

 

Characteristics: Carolina Grasshoppers can be found throughout the entire United States. They eat plants and grass and are good flyers dispite thier erractic-looking flight paths. As with most insect species, the female Carolina Grasshopper is larger than the male. Coloring is generally on the dark side with the occassional yellow.


General Adult Size (Length):
37mm to 48mm (1.46in to 1.89in)
